Complete the following the data below.

 

  1. Analyze the relationship between Income and Gender. Calculate manually. Show your work.
  2. Give a substantive interpretation of the bivariate relationship above. (i.e. Read the column % horizontally. Read just one row.)
  3. Add the control variable Education to the analysis and create crosstabs. Make sure to create crosstabs manually.
  4. Does the original bivariate relationship remaine the same? (Write one or two sentences for this.)
  5. Replicate the results using SPSS. (i.e. Produce bivariate and multivariate crosstabs using SPSS.) Do not include any redundant, unnecessary, or wrong tables.  (Hint: Analyze-Descriptive-Crosstab. Dependent variable-Row, Independent variable-Column. Do not forget to click the Cell option.)
